Alumni

Camia Green
Camia has recently completed a cirque contract in Israel called “The Wow Show”. It’s a variety show with dancers, aerialists, tumblers, and acrobats. Afterwards, she will return to Universal Studios Florida as a dancer. At Universal I’ve been hired as a dancer, stilt – walker and actor. She has also worked at Six Flags Over Georgia as a dancer.
Her film/TV work includes a dancer in Vampire Diaries and a SAG dance commercial in Orlando at Disney World.

Carolyn Silverman
Carolyn is currently a biochemistry major at Barnard College, but she continues to study dance in both an academic and performance setting. She is studying with former Miami Ballet and Bill T. Jones dancer Colleen Thomas.
She is in rehearsal for the re-staging of Annie B. Parson’s “Lucifer Kicking”—a five-person piece, which was originally performed in 1994 at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. I will be performing the work in November at New York Live Arts.

Jen McGinn
Jen McGinn received her B.A. and M.F.A in Dance from Hollins University in partnership with the ADF. She has been an artist-in-residence at Dickinson College, Hollins University, Booker High School Visual and Performing Arts Center, ADF, West Coast Civic Ballet, nEW Festival, and the University of Maryland, among others.
She currently co-directs the Summer Institute in Dance at the University of the Arts, is a Dance Specialist for ”Life Lines” Community Arts Project in Sunset Park, and is the Studio Manager at the Center for Performance Research.
She has presented her choreographic work throughout New York (Movement Research at the Judson Church, Joyce SoHo, New York Live Arts, AUNTS, Dixon Place, BAX, Danspace Project, etc.), Philadelphia (Paraphrase at Nexus, Mascher Space Co-op, Live Arts Festival, nEW Festival, and the CEC, etc.) and internationally in Brussels and Luxembourg.
She is currently working on a new project with 7 other alumni of Deborah Vinton through a grant with Brooklyn Arts Exchange.

Cassidy Samelian
Cassidy Samelian has been in pursuit of her BFA in Dance at the Florida State University for the past 3 years. She has had the honor and privilege of training and performing with Jawole Zollar, Dan Wagner, Gerri Houlihan, Daniel Clifton, Tim Glenn, Rodger Belman, and a multitude of other inspiring faculty members.
She is currently studying in New York City through the FSU in NYC program where she is interning with Movement Research, taking a choreography class under the direction of Bessie Award winning teachers, and rehearsing with Jen McGinn and Lauren Slone for their upcoming residency showings.
She will graduate in 2014, after her final Spring semester at FSU, at which point she plans to make her transition to New York City permanent in order to continue chasing her dreams of becoming a professional dancer.
